Caption: Felix Renda Renekwa, Mono translation committee member in the city of Bili which is considered the linguistic center of the Mono speaking community. He is also a literacy teacher. In an interview Felix said: "It’s very important that they understand [the Bible] in their language to know God, and the actions of Christ. Because when we have the Bible in our language, it is like an infant that receives the Mother’s milk. For us it is immediate nourishment. It is immediate the fact that we have the Bible in our mother tongue. It is as if we are receiving a direct nourishment from the Lord."
