Caption: A computer displays motion being captured to use for a Sign language Bible translation. Specialized cameras capture and record every movement a person wearing a special suit with sensors makes. This technology has greatly increased the speed of the translation project. In Barcelona, Spain a team including hearing and Deaf is working together to translate the Bible into Catalan and Spanish Sign Language. Resources for the project have been provided by both Catholic and Evangelical churches. Their united goal is to see the word of God enrich the lives of the Spanish Deaf population.
