Caption: A Deaf man speaks of his joy and gratitude to the video camera, in the foyer following the historic Kerala Sign Language Bible dedication event in Kochi, India. Over 1200 deaf people attended the event, a small representation of the estimated 9 million Deaf in India. People stayed and talked for hours following the event. The atmosphere was thick with excitement, joy and wonder. This is the first time in India (only the second in history) that the Word of God is available to deaf people in a way that they can understand - in sign language. On the left is Wycliffe Videographer Sung-Wook Kim, DOOR interpreter Camille, and Monsoon Director Dawn Kruger.
